Some comments from Scott:
There are many programs to help you deal with excessive debt, but all of them boil down to a handful of methods:
  1. You can ignore the debt
  2. You can do bankruptcy
  3. You can consolidate the debt
  4. You can settle the debt
Settling the debt is the best deal for you, the debtor - because a portion of the debt is forgiven. This means that just like magic "poof" - part of the debt is gone and you no longer owe it! With the economy being so weak, many creditors are willing to make 50% or more of your debt go away. Please read the rest of this web page for more information and then use the form on the right to request a FREE brochure about settling your debt. You can also check the box for someone to contact you right away about this program.

Debt Negotiation – How a Debt Settlement Company Can Eliminate Your Debt

If you are in debt for over $10,000, a debt settlement company can help you out significantly with debt negotiation. These companies have established relationships with the credit card companies and other creditors which will give them more leverage in debt negotiation. A good debt settlement company can settle your outstanding balance for 50% or less of what you actually owe. It may sound too good to be true but these creditors currently have a lot of government bailout money to play around with and are more generous than ever when it comes to debt negotiation. This article will teach consumers how to take advantage of the current economic environment and eliminate your debt.

With the influx of billions of dollars from the recent financial bailouts, credit card companies and other large financial institutions have much more flexibility when it comes to debt negotiation. While it is possible to attempt to negotiate directly with your creditors, a debt settlement company has a significant advantage and will usually be able to negotiate a much more favorable debt settlement. If you are over $10,000 in the hole, it would be a financially prudent decision to hire a debt settlement company on your behalf. The best companies will be able to settle for 50% or less of your current balance. So, if you are $10,000 in debt you could end up only having to pay $4,000 – $5,000. Pretty good deal in my opinion.

So you are probably thinking that this will ruin your credit score. Not true. While your credit score may take a little hit initially it is nowhere near as bad as bankruptcy and it will actually end up helping you in the long run. When you eliminate your debt, creditors are much more likely to extend a line of credit or issue a new loan. Your outstanding debt is the main thing that creditors look at when they decide whether or not to loan you money. A debt settlement company will significantly help you out in debt negotiation and I urge all consumers currently in debt to at least explore this possibility while the creditors are being so generous.

What is Debt Settlement?

Debt Settlement, also known as Debt Negotiation, is the process of negotiating downward an outstanding balance of unsecured debt owed to a creditor, then paying that lowered balance in one lump sum. Our credit card debt negotiation program is one of the most effective alternatives to debt consolidation and bankruptcy.

A win, win, win proposition

Debt settlement works because creditors hate bad debt write-offs. Obviously, getting a portion of the money owed is far more preferable than receiving none at all. This is why so many creditors are willing to reduce debt for unbelievable amounts.

Jenny, Thanks for the explanation. For a moment I thought I had lost my mind -knowing I had 2 payments, but glad you cleared that for me.

Again, thank you for everything. Knowing there is help out there for people like me is very comforting. I speak highly of your work and will continue to put the word out to people, like me, who could use a little help and not drown in debt with the ever so high interest rates. I truly felt like I was drowning, paying interest on top of interest, and never getting anywhere but deeper. With my income stream dropping, it made it difficult to just survive. I, again, thank both you and Tim for helping me get some relief. You all are doing a great job!

Thank you,
Judy Bouchard

Thanks Jenny. I really appreciate all the work you have been doing. I have been getting phone calls on the other BoA account also stating that they are sending it to the law firm so hopefully they will hold off in good faith since we are paying this one off.

I do not want to promise the $800/m. That may become a burden. Being in real estate, the commision checks are few and far between so if I have a bad month I may be stuggling. If things start getting better, I will let you know to start working on that.

You are fantastic! I really appreciate the emails and updates on my a/cs. I was starting to get really nervous but now I am closer to getting DebtFree by Christmas this year.

Thanks again,
Erica S.
